About the event
Jean M. Connors, MD, holds the position of Medical Director of the Hemostatic Antithrombotic Stewardship Program and Anticoagulation Management Services within the Hematology Division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She also serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, bringing a distinguished background in thrombosis and anticoagulation management to the forefront of clinical care and research.
Dr. Connors earned her medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University and completed her internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She pursued advanced training with fellowships in transfusion medicine and hematology/oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Her research is focused on venous thromboembolism, anticoagulation strategies, and coagulopathies, including COVID-19–associated thrombosis. She currently serves as the Principal Investigator for an NIH/NHLBI-funded antithrombotics trial in COVID-19 outpatients.
